Vintara

We welcome Ange – our new chef to Vintara. Ange along with her chef partner have moved to the region from Melbourne. Ange brings lots of experience to Vintara – from working with Peter Rowland to chefing in large well known resorts.

Having been thrown in the deep end over Easter mothers day and with a couple of large weddings in the next few weeks Ange has settled in and has now put her stamp on the menu

Her talents brings some Moroccan and Japanese elements and a little less formality to our new menu – (see menu). Ange also loves cakes and all things sweet so come and enjoy some delicious cakes, sweets and coffee.

NEW WINE RELEASES

With the 2008 Tempranillo proving so popular we have now released our 2009. Chock full of the same chocolate and spice as the 08 the slightly bigger 2009 is sure to prove a hit and judging by current sales wont take long to disappear.

Our 2009 Durif has also been released it is full of lovely rich oak and berry characters and while it is still a bit young for Durif it still presents great drinking now with great potential for long term cellaring.

We have also just released our 2009 Merlot and 2010 Cinsaut both are fairly limited in quantity and sure to sell out quickly.

The 2009 Shiraz is due for release in July – rich chocolate and fresh plums this wine is promising much.
